President's Welcome,

Thank you all for expressing interest in Cardinal Club.  We are excited about the number of parents that are willing to help with the activities we have planned for this year. 

Our first meeting is September 4th at 6:30 pm at the Middle School.   We hope that we will see many of you there.

For the first semester, we have 2 fundraisers and 2 events.  Our fundraisers are going towards one-to-one chrome books, basketball hoops and a volleyball net for the students.

Our first fundraiser is going to be the Save Around Coupon Books.  These books cost $25 and Cardinal Club receives $12.50 per book.  This year we are going to be sending home a book with each student.  We will be receiving the books and envelopes earlier on September 4th so we will need to stuff the book and letter into the envelopes at the September 4th meeting.  Hopefully with lots of people it will take no time at all.   Advisory teachers will be asked to distribute the books and receive the orders.  We are planning on doing a pizza party for the Advisory class with the most orders and prizes to the top few sellers.

The next event after Coupon book sales will be the Parent Teacher Conference dinner that we sponsor for the teachers.  We will need someone to be the Chairperson for this event and some volunteers to be on the committee.  A budget will be provided and the Committee would be responsible for ordering the food and set up at the School on November 7th at 3 pm.  Food may need to be put away after conferences and then any remainders put out again the next morning for lunch.

After Coupon Books will be Fannie May Candy sales in time for Christmas. 

Then we will have a Christmas lunch for the staff.
